Shipshewana Auction Horses 2013
Shipshewana Auction Rescue Horses
It was a privilege and an honor for Saving Baby Equine Charity to provide a donation to Michigan’s Sand Stone Farm’s Rescue Effort when they attended the notorious “Black Friday” Shipshewana horse auction on November 29, 2013. Their mission that day was to save as many horses from the “loose horse” kill pen and ultimately death on a slaughterhouse floor as they financially were able.
Four horses’ lives were spared due to this life saving mission of Sand Stone Farm’s Rescue Effort! Those four lucky horses were two off-the-track Thoroughbreds, a young Quarterhorse mare, and a little grade pony. With your additional financial support, Saving Baby Equine Charity will continue to provide financial assistance to approved tax exempt equine rescues in the future.
